Bill brings over 30 years of technology and security experience to his role as Chief Executive Officer at Fairwinds. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Engineering at Black Duck Software, an open source security company acquired by Synopsys. He has held executive / founder positions at Speechworks (acq. by Nuance), Virtual Iron (acq. by Oracle), Avalere (acq. by Iron Mountain) and Digital Guardian.
Elisa serves as VP of Engineering Operations. She has a background in full-cycle customer and business operations, and software sales and delivery from nonprofit through enterprise / Fortune 100. Her focus is operational efficiency and delivery excellence, balancing the triad: team, customer, company.
Joe is VP of Product Strategy for Fairwinds, where he is responsible for leading teams that build solutions to bridge the gap between developers, security, and operations. His product experience ranges from lean startup incubations to managing high growth products through to maturity. Prior to Fairwinds, Joe was a Director of Product Management at Veracode, which was acquired by Thoma Bravo in 2018 for $950m.
Mary is responsible for the financial, HR and legal operations at Fairwinds. Her experience includes CFO roles with Foley, Storwize (IBM), Virtual Iron (Oracle) and Ucentric (Motorola). She holds a B.S. in Accounting from University of Illinois and an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University.
Brian serves as VP of Sales leading the Sales and Customer Success teams to help bring Fairwinds' Kubernetes Enablement solutions to customers. His experience includes multiple roles leading Go-To-Market strategy in startups from growth stage through acquisition. Prior to Fairwinds, Brian lead Sales and Customer Success for Cobalt.io and GTM strategy Veracode where he spent 8 years. After Veracode's acquisition by CA Technologies, Brian served as Director of Sales Integration and Strategy for CA Technologies.
Robert drives software initiatives at Fairwinds with a heavy focus on open source. He has worked for years on developer tooling and software infrastructure, focusing on the development of software that abstracts away the complexity of underlying infrastructure to enable an optimal experience for engineers.

Bob is the Chairman of the Board at Fairwinds. Previously Bob was Executive Director for CA, after being Chairman and CEO of Veracode, which was acquired by CA in March 2017. Prior to Veracode, Bob was the CEO of Iron Mountain. He also held roles as Chairman and CEO of Connected Corporation (acq. by Iron Mountain) and as General Manager for Network and Service Management at Cisco. He serves on the Boards of At Scale, OneDB and EforAll Roxbury.
Rob Ketterson is a Board Member at Fairwinds. He has focused for 25 years on private investment opportunities in information technology, software and tech-enabled services. In 2010, Rob was Founding Partner at Volition Capital, a technology growth equity firm where he remains a senior advisor and board member to several portfolio companies. Rob’s additional board directorships include Cortera, Ensighten, PlayerLync, Swoogo and Vana Technologies.
