1. About the Job

Fairwinds is seeking an entrepreneurial, intellectually curious, creative, and analytical individual to join as our Director of Growth Marketing and lead our inbound strategy and tactics through our next phase of growth.

As our Director of Growth Marketing you will report to the VP of Marketing. We are looking for someone who will guide demand generation efforts and execute programs / tactics. You will work closely with your marketing peers as well as the sales team to build and manage our pipeline. 

This is your chance to shape demand generation in an early stage company in a very hot space (cloud-native infrastructure), influence others in the organization, and expand your overall marketing expertise.

2. About you...

  • You have 7-10 years as a growth marketer, ideally in B2B SaaS. The role encompasses demand generation via both inbound and outbound methods, with the primary focus being on inbound in order to help the company scale.
  • You believe that successful marketing is not just about driving net new logos but also about customer retention and growth. 
  • You’re a self-motivated professional with a strong track record in digital marketing strategy and tactics to drive conversion. You excel at SEO and SEM, conversion rate optimization, and other inbound marketing elements. You have at least a basic understanding of website design and HTML/CSS.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of marketing operations, embrace A/B testing, and enjoy troubleshooting system issues to get to the root cause.
  • You possess strong analytical skills. You know how to implement and track marketing KPIs and trends over time, develop insights, and communicate recommended actions.
  • You’re a great communicator. You listen, and your written, oral, and visual communication is clear, concise, and tuned carefully to your audience.
  • You have leveraged Hubspot (strongly preferred) and other online marketing and sales platforms.
  • You have experience in database strategy and governance. You have implemented database segmentation and driven effective nurture programs.
  • You are adept at sourcing, onboarding, and managing agencies as part of the extended team.
  • You are a creative problem solver. You can think your way through complex issues, have a keen eye for details, and talk about it all confidently, accurately, and honestly.
  • You’re organized, communicative, and accountable — you own your role entirely, while being open to critique, suggestions, and new ideas.
  • You have a B.A. or B.S. degree.
