The Best Coffee starts with the Best Coffee Farms
Great taste comes from the quality of the coffee we buy. Many roasters say this, but with our coffee, there truly is a difference. We buy our coffee directly from the farmers who grow the best coffee beans we can find. We set up solid, long-term relationships with them. And on all our partner farms, we run our development program, called Community Aid, which strives to break the cycle of poverty there and keep the farms, the communities, and the environment viable.
We own and operate seven coffee farms across Mexico and Panama ourselves. By the time the coffee trees on our farms reach maturity, we will have complete control (growing and milling) over 30% of the coffee we sell.
Once we get the beans, we roast our coffee slowly and carefully using our exclusive varying temperature/airflow process - a mix of artisan roasting and scientific excellence. Finally, we lock the coffees' freshness right away as we seal the roasted coffee away from the harmful effects of the air within minutes of roasting.
